This handcrafted vase was turned from a piece of Yew, felled in the forestry around Cardigan Bay, Mid Wales.  Yew is my favourite wood to turn because of its vivid colours and great turning qualities.  This vase has a number of small knots, fissures and bark inclusions.

It is finished with a food safe blend of natural oils and waxes. 

The vase is 6” W x 5”H.
